Primary Routes of Exposure
Eye Contact : May cause irritation as any normal dust.
Skin Contact : Product is non-irritating to the skin.
Inhalation : Product is not expected to cause irritation to the nose, throat or respiratory tract.
Injestion: May cause possible low order of irritation of gastrointestinal tract.
SECTION IV: FIRST AID MEASURE
Eye contact : Flush with large amounts of water for 15 minutes. Consult a physician if irritation persists.
Skin : Thoroughly wash exposed area with water.
Inhalation : Move subject to fresh air.
Ingestion: This product has a low order of toxicity. Rinse mouth with water. If victim is conscious, try to get
the victim to vomit by having the victim touch the back of their throat with a nger. If they are unconscious,
don’t give anything to drink and don’t make them vomit. Arrange for transport to the nearest medical facility
for examination and treatment by a physician as soon as possible.

Special Fire Fighting Procedures: If material is in contact with other burning materials, it may burn. Avoid inhaling
vapors. A positive pressure NIOSH approved self-contained breathing apparatus with a full facepiece should be worn when
there is a possibility of exposure to smoke, fumes, or hazardous decomposition products. Use water, fog, foam dry
chemical or carbon dioxide re extinguishers.
Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards: Toxic carbon monoxide may form when burned without sucient oxygen.
SECTION VI: ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Personal Protection : Not normally needed.
Spill or Leak Procedures: Shovel and sweep up or use industrial vacuumc leaner. Avoid generating dust cloud. Put into
containers for reclaiming or disposal as a non-hazardous solid waste in compliance with local regulations.
SECTION VII: HANDLING AND STORAGE
Storage Conditions : Store in a cool, well ventilated location away from oxidizing agents and sources of ignition.
Handling procedures: Ground all transfer, blending and dust collection equipment to prevent static sparks. Remove
ignition sources from the material handling, transfer and processing areas where dust may be present. Use mechanical
exhaust work areas. Practice good housekeeping. Product spilled on walking surfaces may constitute a slipping hazard.

Ventilation : Keep work area well ventilated to avoid inhaling excessive material.
Respiratory Protection : Use NIOSH/MSHA approved respiratory prot ection equipment in accordance with OSHA 29
CFR, 1910.134 where exposure is likely to exceed acceptable criteria.
Protective Gloves : Not required.
Eye Protection : Safety glasses meeting ANSI Standard Z87.1 should be worn if there is a possibility of eye contact.
Other Special Precautions: Product can accumulate static charges when handled. Equipment should provide a means for
dissipating any charges that may develop.

molecules are not biologically active.
